Implied Bible Technology
From around Romans 1:19-25 we see a really good example of some implied Bible Technology. Let’s jump right into this.
In Romans 1, Paul is writing to the church in Rome and he let’s them know that God has shown his existence to everyone with this statement in verse 19.
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
The very existence of God is manifest in everyone, and God puts it clearly within their site. In other words, everyone has it hard coded in them that God exists. Quite literally.
For me “for God hath showed it unto them” means the symbiotic relationship of everything on earth. I see it all around. Just staring at the trees and the sky and feeling the wind or experiencing the joy in a relationship is way more than enough for me.
In verse 20 it gets way more specific. Also, for the moment I’m only pasting HALF of verse 20.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made
Where’s The Tech In This Statement
I looked some of the key words up in Greek and there weren’t any great revelations to me. Sometimes you look up a word and it creates a greater level of comprehension. This first half of verse 20 seems pretty pure to me.
The invisible things (aorata) are CLEARLY seen. That in itself doesn’t make sense until you see the TECHNOLOGICAL STATEMENT that follows:
“being understood (nooumena) by the things that are made (poiēmasin). The last word implies workmanship.
In a nutshell…….The things that we make via our workmanship reveal the invisible things of God. Our inventions can reveal the invisible things God made. Probably the best example I can use is our own DNA.
I Want To Be Clear
There is nothing in Romans 1 about DNA. This is me talking and using DNA to make my point. DNA is genetic CODE. Genetic code contains the instructions in a gene that tell a cell how to make a specific protein.
We have been taught that we have evolved from various species to modern day man, yet DNA coding appears to be locked. One species cannot breed with another. A dog and a cat cannot breed. A horse and a pig cannot breed. And most importantly a monkey and a human cannot breed. Yet somehow we evolved from apes and then all the DNA locked so it couldn’t be done again? I don’t think so.
The very existence of genetic coding reveals one thing for sure. SOMEONE WROTE THE CODE. Your DNA is self REPLICATING, and SELF REPAIRING. That’s a pretty neat trick for something that wrote itself. There are several very prominent geneticists who cannot explain the origins of DNA coding.
Other Invisible Things
We can see an awful lot these days via modern invention. One giant experiment is the Large Hadron Collider commonly known as CERN. What are they looking for? Their mission statement states that they want to uncover what the universe is made of and how it works. Also, they have discovered multiple particles including Higgs Boson which some call the God Particle.
A lot of people think their logo looks like 3 sixes. I want to state for the record that I don’t really hold that opinion. But a lot of others do. I only see two circles.
And a statue outside of CERN is that of Lord Shiva. Shiva is the Destroy of Worlds and also the Rebuilder of Worlds. Interesting choice, CERN.
Anyway, forget all that but do know that CERN has even just recently announced that 3 new hadron particles have been discovered. They call them pentaquarks and tetraquarks. These discoveries are showing the invisible things which God made no matter how you package and sell it.
The Other Half Of Verse 20
First lets show the first half again.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made,
Here’s the other half now:
even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
So, invention and knowledge reveal the invisible things of God and if you ignore it, or deny it……….YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE. God hard coded everything you need to believe in him. Additionally, I personally think this statement means that everyone deep down actually knows that there is a God even if they deny it, or won’t admit to it.
Bible Technology
There is technology in the Bible. God made his existence known in the invisible realm in which our inventions would reveal these things. But while the world screams things like “Follow The Science”, they consecutively deny actual science that reveals the Creator of the Universe.
DNA didn’t code itself. All these sub-atomic particles didn’t create themselves. The force that holds atoms together didn’t make itself.
A rational study of science and technology reveals that we were created.
