Abstain From Meats

Abstain From Meats, Telling The Future

One of the greatest Bible Tech tricks is to tell the future. The Bible is the only book that does this, and does it accurately. And it does it quite frequently. I’m going to clue in on a couple of my favorite stories where the Bible accurately predicts the future.

Le’s start in 1 Timothy. And I’m going to skip over a thing or two to get to my favorite soothsayer prophecy. Let’s read 1 Timothy 4:3:

Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

I’m actually going to skip past the “forbidding to marry” part because we aren’t there yet although we all know there has been quite a departure from the biblical family unit. But get a load of the next statement that Paul writes: “and commanding to abstain from meats”

Climate Change

There is hardly a day goes by when the Climate Change experts say we need to quit eating meat. Recently, in Ireland they proposed to kill 200,000 cows in the name of Climate Change. Stores and restaurants sell plant based substitutes.

I could find dozens of these articles but here is one where the World Economic Forum (WEF) calls on 1 billion people to stop eating meat. There is a WEF guy that is particularly despicable named Yuval Harari, that calls industrial farming one of the worst crimes in history.

Again, you can find dozens of these articles. These are just two examples. The WEF clearly wants you to “abstain from meats”

Think about that. Almost 2000 years ago Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 4 that people would command that you not eat meat. And while we aren’t 100% there yet we are well on the path to total fulfillment of that prophecy. That’s a bullseye if you ask me. A nearly 2000 year old bullseye.

Why?

What is the problem with meat? God clearly says it is okay if you give thanksgiving. I can think of no other reason why they want it gone other than it is acceptable to God. Back up a little bit in 1 Timothy 4 to verse 2:

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Even Harari says he isn’t a vegetarian. Speaking lies in hypocrisy is in play here. The same Climate Change people who tell you the sky is falling fly around the world in private jets and buy ocean front property. Lies are so prevalent from our politicians these days it is a declarative as saying “water is wet”. These same people who claim to fight for democracy and peace and equality also fund wars.

Prophecy

Almost the entirety of the Old Testament is a prophecy of the coming of a Messiah. Daniel puts Jesus entering Jerusalem on the back of a donkey TO THE VERY DAY.

Isaiah 53 tells the story of Jesus with remarkable accuracy over 700 years before Christ was born. Nice trick, Isaiah. Except it wasn’t a trick.

Also in Isaiah 46:10 God himself tells you he’s telling you the future in his book so you’ll know it is him:

Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Jerusalem

Most prophecy in the Bible deals with Israel and of course Jerusalem. The Bible says that Israel will become a nation again in a day. Which of course it did on May 14th, 1948.

Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Israel was also a desert. The Bible predicts it would bear fruit. In 1869 the famous author, Mark Twain wrote in his book, The Innocents Abroad:

“…[a] desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds — a silent mournful expanse….  A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action….  We never saw a human being on the whole route….  There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere… No landscape exists that is more tiresome to the eye than that which bounds the approaches to Jerusalem…  Jerusalem is mournful, dreary and lifeless.  I would not desire to live here.  It is a hopeless, dreary, heartbroken land…  Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes.”[15]

There are simply too many prophecies about Israel and Jerusalem to attempt to catalog on my simplistic blog. And you may have noticed I quit adding the corresponding passages just above.

When God tells you Israel is barren but will give it’s people fruit you had better believe it. But you don’t have to believe God because you can see for yourself that Israel is an agricultural powerhouse in their region. The amount of fruit and flowers grown and exported there is staggering.

Conclusions

The Bible tells the future. That’s pretty high Tech if you ask me.

And much of the New Testament deals with the 2nd Coming of Christ. We all know the world is trying to form borderless countries with one source of leadership. They also want one currency, that they can control YOU with. Just this week the BRICS nations declared they were coming up with a new digital currency backed by gold. Most people don’t see the Biblical relevance in that. It’s scary.

And of course they’re going to tell you to abstain from meats. You can see that already.

The Bible is the true and literal word of God. You had better believe that. Your very eternity depends on it.
